Dear Paradox,
One year ago, December 21st, 2008, I discovered this little place called Sheldon/Penny (before we were called Paradox). It was full of awesome and win. I moved in immediately. Back then, there were only a couple of back pages of posts and less fanfics than I have fingers. In one year, look at this place! Over 2000 members and so much fic, I can't even keep up with it all. You guys are made of win.
I just wanted to say, "Thanks, guys. Thanks for a wonderful twelve months. Thanks for the lulz, and the support. Thanks for Pirate Summer and those first monthly fic challenges. Thanks for putting up with me and my squee. Thanks for squeeing back. Thanks for listening to my crazy ideas and having even crazier ones for me to love! You guys are the best fanfriends a girl could ask for."

| Holiday Swap Deadline Reminder |

Just a quick litle reminder that the posting dates for the Holiday Fic/Art Swap are December 23-26. I can hardly wait to see all of the lovely goodies that will be flooding the community.
Another reminder, if, for any reason, you are running late or cannot fulfill your prompt please let me know ASAP. A couple of people volunteered to be back ups in case someone couldn't finish theirs. I can also post things for you if you're going to be out of town or you're worried that you won't be able to get to a computer due to the holidays. I've been watching my spam folder but sometimes things slip past me.
And as one last thing... I don't know if I've said this but I'd really like to put a great big THANK YOU out there to all the participants. Swaps are only as awesome as the people in them. With that in mind I'm sure that this one will knock all of our socks off. I can't wait. |

I was originally going to do a bit more with this, but decided, eh, let's just post the quiz and have fun with it. Behind the cut are fifty-The Big Bang Theory related questions. I think we all can agree that a Comic-Con episode complete with a road trip and Penny being dragged along for the ride would be pretty amazing. You know what else would be amazing? SEEING THE COSTUMES THAT EVERYONE WEARS.

EPISODE DISCUSSION, Take 2 - 2.11 - The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis
Much to Lenonard's disappointment, Penny suddenly develops an interest in science when a sexy new physicist joins the lab. Meanwhile, Sheldon struggles to find an appropriate Christmas gift for Penny.
Most of us have already seen this episode, but it's still fun having a rewatch post, and there are a few people who haven't seen it. Also, we can revisit our early thoughts on it, and maybe offer some more retrospective point-of-views since we're X number of episodes past this one, and highlight the truly awesome aspects of the episode (in other words, everything EXCEPT for the icky bulk of the episode, ie. the A-story). |
